Syllabus: Students will undertake seventy days (70) social work placement in a range of fields and sites of practice under the supervision of an approved supervisor. Integration and application of theoretical frameworks, social work skills and critically reflective practice are essential elements of the placement. Through the use of supervision students will develop competence in evaluating personal values, professional values, ethics and frameworks into practice. Students will apply self-care strategies and undertake critical examination and evaluation of social work in practice.
