Syllabus: | Professional experience as a full-time employee in the surveying field under the direct supervision of a licensed surveyor. Relevant practical experience in urban and rural cadastral surveying. Participation in the cadastral seminar series and two cadastral continuing professional development seminars is required. Introduction to the design, planning and scheduling of large spatial science projects. Workflow design and schematic design. Scheduling and cost estimates. Writing project proposals. Introduction to business law - contracts, costing, employment, trade practices and awards. Economics - micro and macro, budgeting, financial reports and accounting. Management - organisational structures, human resources management, managerial decision making, leadership, communication and continuing professional development. Project management |
