Introduction
The Law / International Relations combination allows students to combine a professional qualification which prepares them for legal practice with an Arts degree majoring in International Relations. The international relations major allows students to choose from units covering the fields of comparative politics, international relations theory, foreign policy, strategic studies, and political history. Topics include economic globalisation; regional studies with an emphasis on Asia; international security considered broadly; human rights; and environmental change. The structure of the course, which provides for the possibility of accelerated progress through the law degree, allows students to complete within a four and a half year time frame.
