Introduction
The Graduate Diploma in Cyber Security is aimed at graduates with a Computing background and provides a detailed coverage of the key concepts and challenges in data and resource protection and computer software security. The course focuses on both the high level (e.g. cryptography theory and data access policy development and security program management) and low level practical (e.g. computer forensics, network intrusion detection and incident handling) aspects of information security.
Course Entry Requirements/Prerequisites
A bachelor degree in the discipline of computing, or equivalent, from a recognised tertiary educational institution.
Duration and Availability
This course is one year full-time or equivalent part-time study.
Professional Recognition
Graduates may be eligible to apply for membership of the Australian Computer Society (ACS).
