Introduction

This course provides mining industry professionals with an introduction to selected economic, financial and management issues of importance to the mineral and energy sectors. Upon completion, students are encouraged to continue their studies in the Master of Science (Mineral and Energy Economics) course.

Course Entry Requirements/Prerequisites

A bachelor degree from a recognised tertiary institution (or equivalent) and at least two years post-degree, relevant work experience. Applicants without an undergraduate degree will be considered on the basis of significant work experience (at least eight years) at a recognisable level of responsibility.

Duration and Availability

The course may be completed in 0.5 year full-time or the equivalent in part-time study.

Additional Course Expenses

Students may be expected to purchase a number of textbooks, readers and other essential study materials.
