Introduction

This course enables applicants with an undergraduate degree in business, commerce, economics or a related field to develop further expertise in accounting. Unit selection allows for focusing on specific professional objectives.

Course Entry Requirements/Prerequisites

A bachelor degree in business (majority in accounting).

Recognition of Prior Learning

Applications for recognition of prior learning are assessed on an individual basis.

Duration and Availability

This fee-paying course is one year full-time or equivalent part-time study.

Course Organisation

Substitution of additional individual study and research units may be permitted for students with appropriate prior preparation. If a student has completed part of the requirements for a particular unit in previous tertiary studies, an appropriate substitute unit will be determined.

Additional Course Expenses

Students may be expected to purchase a number of textbooks, readers and other essential study materials.
