Designed for those with an undergraduate degree in business, commerce, or a related field to develop further expertise in Human Resource Management/Industrial Relations. It also equips those with some experience in human resource management, industrial relations or human resource development, to develop a strong professional specialisation in one of those fields. Features guided independent study, team projects and maximum use of information and communication technology.
A bachelor degree in business, commerce or other appropriate field from a recognised Australian tertiary institution, or equivalent qualification.
Applications for recognition of prior learning are assessed on an individual basis.
This fee-paying course is two semesters full-time or equivalent part-time study. Some units are available in the evening.
Depending upon the major area of study chosen, graduates are eligible for membership to the Australian Human Resources Institute.
Graduates generally find employment that have an interest in or focus on human resource management/industrial relations activities in the intermediary managerial level.
Students may be expected to purchase a number of textbooks, readers and other essential study materials.
