Syllabus: This unit provides an introduction to systematic processes of inquiry which lay the foundation for meaningful interpretation and implementation of curriculum. Students will develop open, critical and responsible attitudes while using the inquiry process as identified in the Australian Curriculum to investigate and seek answers to local and global social and environmental issues. The unit provides students with the opportunity to complete a detailed inquiry of an environmental issue, with the focus on the methods needed to support the teaching and learning of science and humanities.
