Syllabus: This unit focuses on introducing students without a legal studies background to the basic legal concepts and areas of law they are likely to confront as managers. The unit aims to provide an analytical framework for addressing these legal issues. As a method of exploration and application of the legal concepts, the unit emphasises legal problem-solving through applying prior decisions (precedent cases) in a number of key areas of business law.
