Syllabus: Instruction in the relevant digital technologies and techniques used by professional designers in the design and production of websites or other web based applications that can include 2D and 3D animations, modelling, and virtual simulations for browser based applications. Study can be by either coursework or by approved and supervised research proposal, significant work or collaboration, competition, exhibition, and/or practicum, fieldwork or industry experience. The unit introduces design processes applied to problems of visualising data, information architecture, database interfaces for internet applications.
