Syllabus: Introduction to broadacre cropping and pasture systems. Exploration of factors influencing crop and pasture yield and the relationship to management issues. Investigation of variables impacting on crop growth, development and accumulation of yield. Constraints to plant production by diseases, pests and weeds and formulation of short and long-term controls.
