Introduction

This major undertaken within the Master of Science (Mineral Economics), Master of Business Administration will provide students with a thorough foundation in contemporary business theories and mining disciplines. Emphasis is also placed on the creation and critical evaluation of innovative ideas and strategies within ambiguous and uncertain environments relevant to mineral economics. The curriculum has a highly applied practical focus and is delivered by leading academics and business practitioners. Students with a technical-based first degree will be offered enrolment into the technical background stream . Students with a non-technical/commerce first degree, such as those with commerce, economics and law degrees, will be offered enrolment into the non-technical background stream.
