311950 v.1 Digital Design Major

Introduction

Students select their pathway of study within the Digital Design major from areas that include web-based design, 2-D and 3-D animation design, digital photography, digital illustration and rendering, interactive and experience design, simulations and modelling, and electronic game design. This programme will provide a comprehensive theoretical and practical education experience aimed at developing the essential creative and practical skills and knowledge to design products and applications using current and relevant digital technologies.

Major combinations within the BA

Students choosing this major within the Bachelor of Arts degree will also choose another major or an elective stream. Choosing a second major allows students to study in an additional discipline area. Choosing an elective stream allows students to undertake further study in the discipline of their first major or choose from a variety of units from around the University. Combinations of majors are listed in the handbook at http://handbook.curtin.edu.au/courses/31/311921.html.

Course Entry Requirement
