Introduction

This major within the Master of Biomedical Sciences provides an understanding of the latest techniques involved in the detection, spread and control of infectious diseases. It includes detailed studies of the most recent diagnostic methods and practices for dealing with infectious diseases. Study tasks include the collection, analysis, and presentation of current scientific information, together with practical experience in laboratory methods.
