Introduction

This program exposes students to the leading edge of knowledge in information systems and technology as applied in business. It provides high calibre students with the opportunity to further their knowledge in their area of specialisation and an opportunity for possible direct entry into master and doctor of philosophy programs.

Course Entry Requirements/Prerequisites

Recognition of Prior Learning

Applications for recognition of prior learning are assessed on an individual basis.

Duration and Availability

The course is one year full-time or equivalent part-time study. Students are advised to check with their course coordinator about the availability of part-time study.

Course Organisation

This honours program is structured to enable extension of analytical and research skills. Students are required to complete advanced units in their area of specialisation and submit a dissertation.

Professional Recognition

Graduates may apply for membership to the Australian Computer Society (ACS).

Additional Course Expenses

Students may be expected to purchase a number of textbooks, readers and other essential study materials.
