Syllabus: Specialised topics: interpreters, implants, nursing caries, disabled patients, overview of prosthodontics, endodontics and periodontal surgery. Gerodontology: needs, (physiological, psychological, medical), and oral health and treatment considerations. Community dentistry: dental services demand and supply. Employment and professional practice: practice management, patient rights, ethics, employment, registration, insurance, relevant Acts, associations and continuing education.
