Syllabus: Best laboratory practices including OH&S, risk assessments, chemical storage and disposal, NATA and ISO standards and ethics in science. Research methodology. Review of the research process. Construct a literature review, including the use of computer based tools, and critically analyse research papers. Performing systematic independent investigation, critically interpreting results in the context of previous studies, and communication the body of research as a scientific report.
