Syllabus: Pathophysiology. Body defence - infection, autoimmunity and anaphylaxis. Elimination, alterations in normal patterns. Metabolism and nutrition - alterations in normal patterns. Mobility life style adaptations. Homeostasis - blood pressure control, fluidand electrolyte balance. Body defence - wound healing. Pain response. Antimicrobial resistance. Pharmacology, pharmacodynamics and pharmacology related to selected disease states.
