Syllabus: The early communications of young children through language and multiliteracies. Historical and current theoretical perspectives underpinning teaching and learning of language and literacy. Establishing effective relationships between the literacy practices of school and the home. Assessment and evaluation of language and multi-literacies. Designing literacy-enriched environments
