| Syllabus: | The application of the physical phenomena in medical imaging Electromagnetic radiation, production and properties of X-rays, sound waves and magnetism, interaction of these energies with matter and absorption properties. Electricity production and supply, radiation detectors, ionisation chambers, solid state detectors and image receptors, counting statistics, radiation measurements and exposure. |
