Syllabus: 200 hours clinical practice work placement; policies; protocols. Competency standards, professional guidelines, portfolio, endorsement. Accountability, law, ethics, safety and quality, cultural security, social justice. Diagnostic process, clinical decision-making. Assessment, pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatment, quality use of medicines, management chronic and self-limiting acute disease. Interprofessional collaboration, communication. Referral. Clinical leadership, management. Integration of research evidence into practice.
