Syllabus: Concepts of Pharmaceutical care, patient assessment, patient education, patient monitoring and evidence-based medicine. Cardiovascular risk, hypertension, ischaemic heart disease, heart failure, cardiac arrhythmias. Dyspepsia, peptic ulcer disease, gastro-oesophageal reflux disease, inflammatory bowel disease, irritable bowel syndrome. Pneumonia and urinary tract infection. Diabetes mellitus Asthma, chronic airways limitation. Renal disorders. Pressure, arterial, venous and diabetic ulcers.
