Distribution System Design: Residential and industrial distribution; Types of distribution system. Connected loads, load factor, maximum demand, diversity factors, Distribution transformer sizing, substation design, selection of cables, cable current carrying capacity, derating factors, effect of harmonics, voltage drop calculations, short circuit calculations, fuses and coordination of fuses. |
