Syllabus: Development of advanced interpersonal skills and practitioner expertise in counselling. Identification and exploration of client concerns and client goals. Assessment and conceptualisation of client issues. Development of knowledge and skills in the selection of suitable counselling methodologies, with particular emphasis on interpersonal process therapy. Integration of theory and practice and ethical principles in counselling (propriety, responsibility, competence and best practice).
