Syllabus: The principles and practice of ethical media relations, and the place of media relations in the public relations management process. Issues and crisis management with local, national and international media. The impact of the rise of social media. How to plan, manage and evaluate media relations strategies. Writing for the media, and organising media conferences. Giving radio and television interviews and training media spokespersons
