Syllabus: Research methods and designs; interference and causation; review of descriptive and analytical epidemiological, clinical, animal, cellular and molecular studies. Strategic, targeted research priorities. Review of descriptive statistics, hypothesis testing, estimation and confidence intervals, parametric analysis, correlation coefficients and statistical software application. Formulation, development and preparation of a research proposal.
