Syllabus: This unit is designed to give both Foundation and Degree students a broad overview of history, socio-economics, politics and culture in Malaysia. Students will gain insights into the characteristics, dynamics and peculiarities of Malaysian society; the impact of its history on its present state of nationhood; and the interplay of cultural, social. economic and political factors in its growth and development as an emerging leader among third-world countries.
