Workshop: 1 x 3 Hours Weekly
Syllabus: The unit will provide medical, clinical and other health practitioners with an understanding of the workings of modern health care systems, an understanding of key legal and clinical governance obligations for medical and clinical practitioners and improve their knowledge of contemporary patient safety and clinical quality systems in medical and acute care settings. Clinical and medical leaders will use specified international clinical leadership competency frameworks to further develop their personal and professional leadership skills and learn how to apply relevant leadership strategies including communication, negotiation, conflict resolution, facilitating change, team leadership and influencing skills to support implementation of patient safety and clinical quality in medical and health care settings.
