Syllabus: In a contemporary environment of global economic, social, cultural and environmental concerns, sustainability has become a major consideration within design. It is a consideration which impacts on all aspects of the development and lifecycle of a productand has become increasingly important within fashion design because of its associations with excessive consumption and waste. This unit examines the issue of sustainability within fashion design and engages you in the development of garments that reassess the design process within this context
