Lecture:	2 x 2 Hours Weekly
:	Forces, moments and equilibrium, ties and struts, loads on buildings, pin jointed frames, shear force, bending moments and the design of beams and columns. Methods of indeterminate analysis. Design of structural elements in accordance with the AustralianSteel Structures Code and the Timber Engineering Code. Design of temporary works including framework and scaffolding.
