Syllabus: Continuous time and discrete time signals - mathematical representation, properties and classifications. Power and energy signals. Linear time invariant systems, impulse response and convolution. Fourier series representation of periodic signals. Continuous time. Fourier transform and discrete time Fourier transform. Sampling theorem. Introduction to Matlab.
