Syllabus: Provides an insight into the world of motion-pictures and screen production. The aim of this unit is to foster understanding of, and familiarity with, the world of motion-pictures which goes beyond the pleasure of simply watching movies. It seeks to expose students to some of the basic concepts pertinent to motion-pictures and to practical aspects of screen production. The unit also intends to nurture creative talents and enable acquisition of basic video production skills by providing the opportunity to develop and produce screen texts.
