Syllabus: Applications of differential calculus. Integral calculus: indefinite and definite integration, Simpson's rule, areas, applications. Vectors: basic ideas, component form, equation of a line, scalar product, applications. Wherever possible learning is reinforced with the use of computer software and/or graphics calculators. Bridging, not remedial, in nature.
