Syllabus: Conventional cryptography systems. Public key cryptography systems. Authentication and hash functions. Network and system security. More specifically - DES. Public key system. Number theory. Message authentication. Digital signatures. Key exchange protocols. Keberos. IP security. SSL and web security. Network threat and firewall.
