Syllabus: The concept of genre: a study of the cultural and historical contexts of cultural productions via genre theory to discover how generic conventions and constraints operate in general. Students will investigate the epistemological, institutional and historical conditions underpinning cultural productions in their area(s). Topics change from time to time.
