Introduction

Students select their pathway of study in product, jewellery, furniture or object design in the 3D Design major. This program provides students with a creatively expansive experience to express their ingenuity, culture, intellectual abilities and skills through designing in three dimensions. Project based activities develop design processes that embed professional standards with individual thoughts, concepts and ideals. Components of the third year program are self directed and lead to exhibition and publication of work. This design major is directed towards employment outcomes as a designer or practitioner in the creative industries sectors. Higher study directions include areas of specialisation in design, art, research or education.
