Syllabus: Community Pharmacy Placement: Quality use of medicines including drug selection and supply. The use of drugs in the primary health setting. Application of pharmacological knowledge in the provision of drug information and patient counselling. The supply of drugs including extemporaneous dispensing, stock control, legal requirements of practice, professional conduct, storage of medicines and record systems. Management and Organisational skills. Applications of drug knowledge. Provision and promotion of primary health care, drug information and patient counselling. Communication skills.
