Syllabus: Build your awareness of the nature of leadership in the context of health care. You will examine the theoretical approaches to leadership and contemporary leadership issues in relation to health care. Examine topics such as ethics, gender, and behavioural theories from the perspective of health care leadership. Throughout the unit you will explore the major challenges facing health care leaders, and learn how to effectively assess leadership development strategies.
