Individual Study: 1 x 8 Hours Weekly
Syllabus: Qualitative and quantitative research theory and practice. Overview of empirical and scientific research processes, the complementary use of qualitative and quantitative methods. Developing aims, objectives, research design, planning and sampling in qualitative and quantitative research and evaluation. Data saturation, triangulation, focus groups and principles of data collection and analysis. Considerations in doing health research in a developing country.
