Syllabus:	Exercise and the Australian population. Energy systems and the physiological response. Principles of exercise programming. Fitness assessment. Programming for aerobic conditioning, strength-resistance training and flexibility. Nutrition, exercise and weight control. Motivation and relapse strategies. Exercise myths and fallacies. Exercise programs in practical settings and for special populations.
