Introduction

This major provides the relevant knowledge and skills required for career advancement and management positions in the rapidly expanding tourism industry in Australia and overseas. It includes study of the management of travel agency and leisure facilityenvironments, the impact of tourism on the local and global economy, and the development of tourism as an important invisible export.
