Syllabus: Integrating knowledge of developmental psychology across the life span with the main theoretical explanations of how normal development becomes derailed. The unit encourages students to understand and articulate how this knowledge informs choice of intervention across the life span. A number of specific developmental issues are addressed as exemplars of each stage of the life span.
