Syllabus: Metal cutting theory. computer-aided design (CAD), computer-aided manufacturing (CAM), and computer numerical control (CNC) programming. Gear manufacture and gear measurement. Non-traditional machining processes and stereolithography. Pneumatics. Logic and Boolean algebra. Karnaugh-Veitch map. Programmable logic controllers (PLC).
