Syllabus: A continuation of Conceptual Illustration 391 with the same organisational structure. A selection of industry-related briefs are offered or alternatively students write their own briefs (with the lecturer's approval). Opportunity to expand upon self-management and interpersonal relationship skills, which enables achievement in higher levels of educational outcomes. Business practices are discussed and the right attitude is encouraged, as this is a critical aspect of becoming a professional illustrator. As a professional, work should be viewed as a product that is fulfilling a need in the marketplace. Portfolio development and design are integrated with the structure of this unit.
