Syllabus: Examination of the most significant challenges to world security in the post Cold War era, threats and capacities, great powers and their role in global security, regional security; Causes of internal conflict, proliferation of weapons of mass destruction, role of the United Nations, economic, environmental and demographic challenges and international crime.
