Lecture: 1 x 2 Hours Weekly
Syllabus: Basic principles of linear inversion and non-linear inversion problem formulation. Introduction to singular valve decomposition (SVD) and iterative least squares method of solving problems. Damping, re-weighting and dealing with issues of sensitivity, convergence and measures of misfit.
