Prerequisite(s): 10461 (v.3) Satellite and Space Geodesy 381 or any previous version
Syllabus: GPS mathematical models. Mechanics of GPS data processing: point positioning, differential positioning, wide area differential GPS positioning, carrier phase positioning. Data snooping, error analysis and ambiguity resolution. GPS error sources: multipath, interference and jamming, atmosphere. GPS broadcast ephemeris computation. Static, fast-static and kinematic solutions. Options for real time kinematic survey configuration and quality control. Includes a field project based on real time kinematic GPS.
