Syllabus: Retail marketing and marketing channels. Retail information systems, channel behaviour, channel operations, channel management, distribution planning, wholesaling, retail consumers, products, site evaluation, merchandising and promoting goods, personal selling, images and atmosphere. Research, audit and the future of retailing. Transportation, warehousing and physical distribution systems.
