Introduction

This is a specialised research course designed for suitably qualified candidates interested in undertaking research into the development and management of information systems.

Course Entry Requirements/Prerequisites

A Postgraduate Diploma in Commerce (Information Systems) with creditable performance, or an appropriate honours degree, including a unit covering information systems research methods, may apply for selection.

Duration and Availability

The course is by research and normally requires one to two years of full-time or equivalent part-time study.

Course Organisation

This course is studied as a research degree. The content of the degree should be determined in consultation with the postgraduate coordinator, School of Information Systems. Students without prior studies in research methods and statistical data analysis will be required to undertake relevant preparatory units. This will increase the stated course duration.
