Syllabus:	Purchasing and procurement is an undeveloped science largely reliant on empirical and practical examples identified in the fields and drawn from practitioners with little time other than to manage their day-to-day actions. From this experiential background more comprehensive and developed theories and models of purchasing management will be developed.
